Porque no es algo que sólo afecte a los hispano parlantes, no. El oyente medio anglófono también tiene problemas para entender a ciertos artistas, tal y como queda demostrado en este curioso estudio en el que también aparecen Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix y Jay Z.

Sin más dilación, repasemos el 'top ten' de vocalistas que no destacan precisamente por vocalizar (entre paréntesis el porcentaje de votos otorgado por los encuestados):

La encuesta en cuestión va aún más allá, y también ha tratado de determinar cuáles son las canciones cuyas letras peor se entienden. Un listado curioso con Abba, Queen y Bon Jovi liderando gracias a jocosos malentendidos líricos (primero señalamos lo que el oyente cree erroneamente escuchar después la letra real).
